Enselwatta new parish was erected on 20th February 2022 and it was a part of Deniyaya Paish. The geographical area of the parish encompass all the administrative divisions of Enselwatta Estate, Mathogobe, Andaradeniya, Halpanthenna, Selvakanda, E.W. Division, Patna, Kurulugala, part of sinharaja and the neighboring estates of Seetha-eliya, Kapila and Beverly.

Parish has a chapel at Selvakanda dedicated to St. Sebastian. The new church of Our Lady of Madhu is being built.
